Baking feels like programming in a language without a repl. You can't experiment. You have to get everything just right, and you only find out afterward if you did.

No no, I was serious. It would be reasonably straightforward to train one but it's not immediately clear what properties one ought to predict and how to measure them.
In the beginning you'd have to train it with human reactions. But I bet eventually you'd start to understand the components of what people like.

hey guys, this sounds exactly the same way the youtube algo became so valuable & destructive...a cake simulator which eventually allows humans to bake perfect cakes every time...leading to an 800% growth in cake consumption and diabetes...
