Honestly, the first thought that popped into my head is how dangerous it is to be a hardware startup. My advice would be to understand why even promising hardware startups tend to get killed, and see if you can design your company to avoid that.

Thank you! Scalability aside, granted hardware yields a higher risk potential of failure due to error margin in production. Does revenue maximisation justify the decline/death of crafts? Are we not losing something essential which is much bigger than occasional investment risk?
