      If someone older than you with business experience is giving you advice on navigating tough times please listen & don’t argue. Good judgement comes from experience that comes from bad judgment. They used to have the same perspective you do. That’s why they are trying to help.

          Different people dealing with different disasters, in different times, with different types of resources and knowledge. Listening to advice is good, taking it into account while reasoning for yourself is better.

          My family went bankrupt in web 1 2001 and I was laid off in 08 by a startup they had acquired mine. Both were turning points for success for me. History is different but it rhymes. Disaster has always improved my life so I definitely listen.
