To really get the benefit of this we're going to need to stop domestic travel. Free for all interstate travel (highways and roads not just planes) is not compatible with that. Just spreads infection from the "bad" states to the better ones. Need to restrict to freight only.
This epidemic shows one advantage of having many different countries instead of a single world government. They can try different solutions to a problem and then copy whichever works best.
