Agree with this, though I've noticed more a Schrödinger's box sort of phenomenon: people behaving simultaneously as if they both have and don't have COVID-19. Serological testing is the only valid way to track its spread. Otherwise you overlook aymptomatic transmitters, and don't actually know where the virus has spread to.
