If this were the case, you’d expect the situation to be uncontained across China and Singapore where they are taking everyone’s temperate everywhere.
That would be true if taking people's temperature were the only measure they're taking, but it isn't.

My colleagues in Singapore have said that they are mostly just checking temperatures. It must be done for each building you enter.
