A study in Vò found that "the vast majority of people who become infected, between 50 and 75%, are completely asymptomatic" and thus represent "a formidable source of contagion."https://corrierefiorentino.corriere.it/firenze/notizie/cronaca/20_marzo_15/dobbiamo-cambiare-rotta-ef23a500-669a-11ea-a40a-86d505f82a96.shtml …

Vo in is Veneto and region is worth investigating. They dismissed central guidance and tested aggressively, SK style (32.5k tests, pop of 5m). Doing better than Lombardy and #s like CFRs prob more indicative. Created a public dashboard key #s by regionhttps://public.tableau.com/profile/michele.zanini#!/vizhome/ITALYCovid-19TrendsbyRegion/Summary …

In Lombardy 11% of the cases are among health care workers, in Veneto less than 5%. Infections among medical staff can impair hospital productivity and contribute to rapid spread. Veneto insisted on daily tests early on. See “MED STAFF...” tabhttps://public.tableau.com/profile/michele.zanini#!/vizhome/ITALYCovid-19TrendsbyRegion/Summary …

Self Isolation seems to be the best bet right now. We should plan for smart social distancing. Commerce bodies should come up with innovative ideas. For example can't Uber drivers double up as last mile delivery staff

That's what many Health Departments have been ignoring. If asymptomatic, those thermal scanners have been and will be useless. Lockdown and community quarantine are the only solutions (e.g. Philippines)

The best advice I came across is for everyone to act as though you have the virus.

In THE THING movie ( 1982), the story of a group of American researchers who encounter the eponymous "Thing", a parasitic, the group is overcome by paranoia and conflict as they learn that they can no longer trust each other and that any one of them could be the Thing.

I'm suspicious that it's been in the US and wider dispersed than we think. There's no consistent set of symptoms, except in critical cases. So if you have recent had / get a weird cold that has a bizarre combination of symptoms, could be this. Or not.
