Good activity if you're home with little kids who like telling stories: let them dictate stories that you type for them. For younger kids the physical act of writing is the bottleneck, so this liberates their imagination.

My 6 years old typed 8 pages (pretty large font) mainly using one finger. He got a certificate because of typing a long story on computer at school.

YES. My kids enjoy creating comic strips on the iPad with me. I draw as they talk through the screenplay. They get to color the printed out pages later.
