When you're dealing with exponential growth, the time to act is when it feels too early.

Unfortunately the people who wanted to act weren’t allowed to do so. #coronavirus

My country Mongolia shut down everything after one confirmed case and cancelled all the flights into the country. Now that's too early.

We were the first country to cancel the flights to China and the trains to China as well. We had our first confirmed case only yesterday via a European citizen.

Improve the replication factor of positive behavior: #stayathome to not feed the exponential beast.

How do you know this is exponentially growing if it's too early? Judgement call?

No. It only SEEMS too early for those who don’t see/understand exponential growth. With just a few days/weeks of data from China, in December, we knew. Truthfully, EVERY breakout is exponential. The question is how large is the base or what’s the doubling time.
