Exactly what I've been saying to those that quote "low-mortality" - we are NOT PREPARED for a massive influx of same-time hospitalizations. People will get sick and we do not have the infrastructure to care for all those in need.

I keep reading comments to the effect of Italian health care system is socialised hence not up to the task therefore this lethality. This is Lombardy, it’s as good as it gets, none should feel reassured by an illusory us better than them.
