But here's a q for you: What would have the "mathematical" models said two weeks ago about virus spread by today? We've seen steady, not exponential, growth over past five days. Even as testing become more common.

I saw MANY models -- simple extrapolations from early, incomplete datasets -- saying we'd be much farther along by now. That just hasn't happened. And these models pretty much never account for the possible effect of other factors (i.e. weather) on suppressing virus spread.
