Data aggregation and visualization for sure. But the more general answer is: cool things you can't predict in advance. That's the whole point of hackathons, to spur people to have new ideas, and implement them.

There’s something about the energy that’s exuded when many people with similar minds are in the same room or in competition with a timeline to beat . That’s one of the immeasurable outputs of a hackathon . That has throughout history spurred discoveries and revolutions!
