VCs spreading panic with bad math is the worst of twitter right now (at least for SFbay area). maybe just retweet CDC, WHO rather than projecting your fears and anxieties. you may be an expert on $$-invested with 60+% failure rates, you are certainly not an expert on epidemics.

You could not have picked a better example to undermine your point. The most distinctive thing about Theranos's cap table was the lack of VCs. They saw through it.

That’s interesting; what is VC responsibility when they see an obvious fraud they pass on but others invest in esp. given they’re in the health space, effecting lives?
