Mission statement is the war cry; its why a startup exists. My test on that is when mission statement graduates from being a war cry to be a fancy poster on the wall that nobody understands.

Why would startups want to graduate to become corporates? IMHO “to work like a startup” is absolutely an advantage and strength for innovation and “constant delivery”, minus the stress for working capital
