Someone did the math. Death rate in Europe would be twice that of China and 4x Africa's, all else being equal.

That might be one thing, but there are plenty of others going against it: "Until early this week, there were only two laboratories in Africa - one in Senegal and the other in South Africa - which had the reagents needed to test samples."
