Why delete it?
I deleted it to test whether it was responsible for a bug I was encountering playing Youtube videos. (It wasn't.)

I’ve been having a similar YouTube bug! I assume my 400 tabs would quickly crash my computer without it

I keep hundreds of tabs open with Firefox and it uses minimal memory. I use "Multi-Account Containers" instead of Chrome profiles.
