Agree walking is great for small scale writers block. Walking or running especially while listening to an interesting podcast works well for me for idea origination as well, including things to write about.

Our species is fortunate that you've chosen writing as your last hobby standing. One question I wish they would've asked in the interview is "why?" What is it about writing essays that trumps all other activities you might choose for your 5 hours/day?
