In many articles I see, it's sufficient to read the first sentence of each paragraph. My goal when writing is to make that not work.

They're ok sometimes. But it's like putting the sentence in bold, so you only want to do it if it's one you want to emphasize.

One sentence paragraphs are too important to be overused. There's nothing more tiring than reading someone who thinks every sentence is so important it deserves its own paragraph. Very common on Medium I feel
