SF should be the last place that should be worried about people driving their car away and break-ins. With all the tech evolution like sensors, wearables, gps, trackers etc., one could hack a solution for this problem in a day

What if someone made SF sort of safe enough that you could leave things in your trunk without worrying that they would be stolen?

Can you please just clarify a point for me please, since I’m in NYC rather than SF these days. The thieves are routinely performing trunk break-ins into random cars?

In South Africa we suffer from the same phenomenon &we pay informal car guards to guard our cars while we go to meetings,shop,etc a few rands $.It deters those pesky thugs...I saw this problem when I was in SF and thought why not have car a car guard app
