My ideal future office working space is small, lounge like, multi-screen, zoom powered. Its ideal for zoom meetings, in person founder meetings and writing (deep thinking 🤔 ) with food & drink available nearby. Ideally I would have the same set up in a few locations.

My ideal office is quiet cabin in the woods with lots of bookshelves, a sofa long enough to lie down on while reading, and a desk heavy enough that it doesn't move when you work at it.

I would have said so a couple years ago. But I recently had an office so cold that I had to get a wood stove to heat it, and I was constantly feeding it. Maybe a bigger wood stove wouldn't need such constant attention though.

Oxbridge! Silicon Valley, you’re reinventing the professor’s private office on a university campus in the 18th century.

You need to make an upside down fire stack. We do it in our cabin all the time, first feed is then 2h away, and you chuck on big heavy logs, because heat will be intense.https://lifehacker.com/the-upside-down-fire-method-creates-long-lasting-flames-5144222 …

I'd need an vista/view with distant point out of the window to placate my eyes and sanity. And then have to ruin any beautiful wooden desk with a standup contraption like this... standing at my desk 1/3rd of the time has been transformative.
