I’m curious how this would be viewed in court given that theres more subjectivity in the process (candidates write a statement to be judged rather than sign a standard statement). Based on how the Harvard admissions case went tho I anticipate this to be in practice for a while.

Will also be interesting to see how this is used in tenure and promotion. Will we start seeing profs denied tenure if their statements are not correct?
