Yes... but it should be the most damning evidence of incompetence of all. How can anyone ignore this, even if you agree with his policies? ~40% of the country support him - they aren’t all irrational, there are many reasonable people in there that can be convinced

Also it strikes me that this one fact is completely unprecedented in recent history. Even GWB - arguably the worst president before this - didn’t have this type of pattern
