My kids have AR and VR and see that as a huge part of their future. We have a Tesla, and my 10-year-old son today said “I hate gas cars, they smell and don’t self drive.”

You're right! It was his birthday a couple days ago. I typed 10 yo out of habit, and realized about a minute afterward that I'd said the wrong age, but I figured no one would notice.

There's a lot of romanticism about technology advancement. I believe the areas that will see greatest innovation will be those that have most practical application, that relate to more basic human problems. The colonization of the solar system will have to wait.
