What's the best you've heard recently that went on to be a successful one?
Open Door is up there. Actually buy people's houses? Surely that's too messy and capital-intensive. But it worked, the market is huge, and they have little competition from the usual startup-founding suspects, who'd run in terror from such an idea.

This looks like an excellent idea to me. Offer a reasonable markdown to people who just don't want the hassle, and are willing to pay the price. Considering that the cost of selling a home is around 10% of its value, there's a lot of room there
