Is there an easy way to build, or a startup that offers, something that will email you once a day asking "What's happening?" and then accumulate the replies? We once funded a startup that did this, and it left a hole in my life when it shut down.

https://coco.so is hackable in that way. Incidentally I build it and use it for lots of use cases. All without a cluttered interface.

Outside of you funding it - what would build that trust (even if not in this particular use case) - a robust privacy policy, or something else?

Hard to build a business when users have know you to trust the app.

I'd trust an app that had existed for a while before I asked for it on Twitter. But this would be easy enough to build that it would be tempting to someone who wanted to play a nasty trick on me.

Why ask if a start-up offers it and then immediately say unless it's in your portfolio or already in your contacts list, tough cookies? I've heard of strawman arguments, first time I've seen a strawman idea
