Probably. Assuming laws of physics are really a thing, even very advanced creatures remained limited by them.

And I wonder how much of our sense of "hard to compute" is based on the computers that are possible in our universe. Possibly the simulators have dramatically different physics, like us simulating Conway's Game of Life
