Ever notice successful people seem to always get some mean comments & replies?
Most worked really hard to achieve their success i.e @elonmusk Why are we so unkind & unsympathetic to people who we presume to be successful, yet we hustle everyday to be just like them?

Do you feel that most people who put in a lot of effort imagine that the rest of the people are doing the same?
-
Not specifically that. Just that by default, people assume others are like them.

I think up until now I have the similar feeling that everyone is trying to learn something new everyday or become a better person, but it’s just not true if you stop and contemplate about it a bit

It's difficult to reach the point but the realization that world is not like ourselves. Everybody is different, unique. They think differently, have different motivations, etc... The day of this realization, we change completely.

I don't dislike Elon Musk so much as I dislike people praising him as a genius even though it's his engineers doing all the actual work. Having money isn't something to look up to
The world needs less Musks and more Carmacks, Iwatas, ...Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
