This is awesome post. One quick question: as a leader of a growing company, it becomes less efficient to be accidentally moderate as more people in the org introduces more opposing views that might not be relevant to your core business. How to explicitly do you communicate?
I had several paragraphs about this exact topic that I cut. Maybe I'll write a separate essay about it. It's a real problem for cos in SF. The solution most founders choose is to pretend to be intentional moderates, which makes them seem dumb, but at least keeps the peace.
