It would be convenient if you could do great work by working only moderately hard. Maybe there are some people who can. But I can't think of any.

I’ve asked the wrong question. What does hard work feel like for the doer? Unfortunately, I only have my inner experience of it to understand it. I suppose autobiographies would be a good place to get more perspectives.
