It would be convenient if you could do great work by working only moderately hard. Maybe there are some people who can. But I can't think of any.

@naval had a few good lines on this: 2 types of energy: 1) physical: health, diet, exercise. Most can get this 2) intellectual energy: you gain energy from the work you do. Having this is gold. People think your “hard worker” but it’s not “hard” for you. -
I would add a 3rd type of “gained energy”: The energy (inner + g) you can ONLY gain from, not simply the work you do, but the work you COMPLETE. When we enjoy we are IN + JOY — Joy is the state achieved by completing work you are happy doing. Joy is the highest gain of energy
