Has that yet happened on Twitter, that someone got banned for something they tweeted years before? I know one can get cancelled in the more general sense for having said something that later became unacceptable, but I haven't heard of Twitter banning anyone for this.

Reactivated but then banned again (and again, I think). I eventually had to begrudgingly delete the offending article. A terrible disappointment.
