I have never voluntarily looked at a startup's deck. As soon as a founder starts to open their laptop, I ask them to stop, and just tell me in words what their startup does.

It's not just that I hate decks. Explaining a startup in conversation is a much more exacting test.

Deck as in pitch deck? I can't fathom that that exists.

"The right to invest up to $250K". Wow. What a sales tactic.

If founder needs someone else to design the deck, for 1, you obv got no growth or good numbers, and 2, you’re doing startups wrong

If a pitch deck cost that much, either the designer is screwing you over, or your material needs way too much fixing for it to be ready to pitch. Investing in a presentation is a good idea, but one for 40k means something is way off.
