The ambition to organize the worlds information was admirable when we had much less content and fewer people gaming SEO. I propose a side-long attack and revisit human curated search. Like when you had to submit your site to and index. Niche verticals and directories. DMOZ FTW!

If Antonio ever wanted to work on that… we have a pretty unique position to be able to instantly see and index changes to the web. Would be fun to work on. Better crawl (or completely reimagining crawl) is key to better search.

If you're curious, cliqz has been trending on HN lately. They've been developing a legit engine from scratch and have written a number of detailed blog posts describing the various internal modules / systems. Fascinating stuff.
