I would pay for something when I see it clearly how it adds value. I pay 5$ for a month, that helps me become 10% more efficient at work. Or else the same learning would take me months of reading docs

It would have to be content that I depend on and couldn't get elsewhere. Something unlike traditional news and media where yesterdays content is no longer relevant. Also something that allows me to form my own opinion. Curious to hear other people's thoughts too.

If you don't have anything more specific than that, I would work on some other idea if I were you. There are thousands of ideas. Work on something you want urgently.

I would pay for a smart/inteligent aggregator that delivers me a daily briefing on user-defined topics (and authors). An extra 20% can be new things just to test my interest, learn and adapt.
