  My FIL's hearing aids connect to his phone and he can hear his phone through them. He still has to speak into the phone to converse, but imagine if he could do that via his hearing aids too.

  I have the dubious distinction of TWO separate hospital visits to remove headphone tips from my ear canal. It is not a fun experience. Also embarrassing to explain to friends and family that "it happened again"
