Translation: The semantics of the language are cluttered with things that should just be optimization hacks.
i.e, the expressiveness* of the language is hurt. *mostly the primary reason why someone would chose to write in a Lisp

IMO, apparently, it is trying to emulate the best of all languages which is a recipe for disaster!
