When companies explicitly mention "synergies" with one another, it's usually a euphemism for something else. Real synergies don't need to be mentioned. They just work.

I've got some learning to do here! Aren't these synergies what are most important? Shouldn't this be the first thing discussed? i.e. if a sum of parts is more valuable than its components, that's where the most value add occurs?
