All the Batman cartoons are suprisingly self-deprecating. Hilarious, even as an adult. 3yo loves them.

An excellent politically incorrect book for children 10+ is "Tales for naughty children" (written in 1948) by Jacques Prévert. I know it from a Czech translation, but, unfortunately, I am not sure if there is an English translation. It was formative for me.

I actually meant generally ""incorrect"", not "politically incorrect". The book is deeply humane in part thanks to that "incorrectness".
