@portanortepa we are building a walkable town inspired in historic Spanish towns.
When people do this, by default they omit the essence in trying to "improve" it. E.g. you can always tell Renaissance-inspired Victorian paintings from actual Renaissance paintings by the fashionably Victorian faces. You can only avoid this by making a conscious effort to.

We've concluded that the key to keeping authenticity is to design a city that allows organic evolution. For this, our focus has been on the "bones" (a grid, numerous public spaces, vernacular architecture and space for nature to creep in).
