Do you have any assumptions you think could be good candidates for this right now? What accepted truths do you think might not hold upon deeper inspection?
In my own case, there are probably a lot of mistaken assumptions about parenting. I often feel like a complete noob. As for widely accepted mistaken assumptions, I either write essays about them or don't talk openly about them. You have to pick your battles.

Reading a lot of autobiographies. The early parts are implicit how-tos, or how-not-tos, and they tend to be much more candid and insightful than books explicitly about parenting.
