(a) It's not just the cognitive load, it's the dishonesty. (b) Having to remember something multiplies cognitive load by the time over which you remember it.

It's a feature, not a bug. You think they didn't run the test? Making canceling harder didn't lower new subscriptions but increased retention. BTW I just subscribed, and they require you to contact support to cancel on Bloomberg.pic.twitter.com/Wqabf6bAQp
