I just tried to back it. Kickstarter said my credit card was "declined for an unknown reason." Presumably the reason is that their software is broken. But in the meantime I suggest you lower the threshold. If you set it at $50k, you get zero till people have pledged that much.
Thought about this as well. Submitting a relaunch application to lower the goal - going for $10k this time.
You want to work on the project rather than not, right? So if I were you I'd make the threshold closer to the actual minimum you need to do it. Otherwise you risk getting nothing, even if people pledge.
