I stored all my stuff and bought a van. This is either going to be awesome or one of the stupider things I've done. Maybe both?

#vanlife! I did this (rent in SF was too damn high, wanted to stay mobile and frugal) until my van with 100% of my possessions (no other storage) was stolen. Complete life reset. Humbling experience. I do recommend to keep stuff you care about elsewhere, tho. -
Oh absolutely. Only taking things I can replace, and it’ll all be insured. Also avoiding cities for this reason.

I'm in my third RV and ten years into traveling kinda full-time (at a leisurely pace with several long stops along the way). It's mostly been great, but stressful at times. I'm far more concerned about weather than I ever was before (and high winds woke me just now).

It can also be hard to stay productive when the house is falling apart (houses that regularly travel at highway speeds are frequently falling apart). Relationships (friends/etc.) are more effort and often drift away without care.
