In some aspects, yes, but it’s easy to come up with a list of problems as well. Should the kids get kicked out of a parent looses their job or wants to do something else, for instance?

Yes it is, years of research have shown that when parents are in same building they get to check their babies/breastfeed them or connect with them in a while, which is an imp factor. And also pschycological comfort factor for babies is underrated in our super busy world.
