You're implicitly assuming conventional morality will change in ways you'd like, but what if it doesn't? What if our grandchildren's generation is far more conservative, and repudiates you for being too liberal?

I didn’t say anything about liberalism or conservatism. What I was driving at is that the hypothetical chance of being cancelled in 50 years due to some extremely unlikely cultural shift is no excuse to not call out bad behavior today when we see it.
