What's a service/good you're still intentionally "cheap" about even though you could easily afford to buy a more expensive alternative? Why?

I imagine quality control would be tough as there's a singular new condition and infinite old conditions. So return rate may make it unprofitable as what you see is not what you get. They could list each old book individually with unique photos but that'd be harder to scale...

Frankly, I prefer used books because of the smell and texture of the paper. The supple, slightly musty feeling of a used book is so much more pleasant than the rigid paper and harsh chemical smell of a fresh print.

If you genuinely prefer properties of the product that happens to be cheaper is it really being cheap? Price and quality are not so tightly correlated

There’s something special about continuing to use something until the physical end of its lifetime Shows it’s timeless - same goes for furniture, apparel, cars, and homes

100%. Things also build 'character' over time. Whether it's shoes that fit you better, or memories you associate with an object.

Hard agree. I couldn't recommend
@WorldofBooksltd highly enough. Books are always in the condition they say they are in & only £2 for international shipping. Their direct marketplace is almost always cheaper than their pricing on Amazon.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
