Every time I open Twitter lately people are pushing for someone to be purged.... the American left is getting very McCarthyite. But I also agree with this post that Woke Twitter isn’t representative of the median liberal opinion.

Beyond the media related examples here I think the implosion of Gillibrand’s candidacy is also an example of how the purist positions taken by strident people in politics and media aren’t shared by the broader public.
