Blocking someone here on Twitter feels awful. But I think it's necessary. If you twist what I say or misrepresent me for the fun of it or respond with hate to my views, you're blocked.

(To test this, I occasionally use incognito mode to look at tweets that turn up in my timeline but that I can't see because I've blocked the account. I can't remember even one being interesting.)

And this is why incognito mode should really have a different name. I bet that most uses are for checking what information is provided without knowing who I am.

I got blocked by a well known, powerful VC for saying that it’s physiologically beneficial to take rest days when exercising. Wasn’t being shitty or trolling, but it’s an area where my experience significantly exceeds his and I’ve heard that he doesn’t like to be disagreed with
