It is also the case that some investors may be negatives and a future risk. For examples: see Jeffery Epstein (any fund or company he invested in is likely in damage control mode now) also Peter Thiel or Saudi finds etc

As a founder or in the future perhaps as an investor it is rational to want to know who else is investing and judge whether you want a long term financial and professional association with those fellow investors esp with earlier stage companies
