why does everyone hate on low conviction investors - the vast majority of people who could be startup investors, aren't. wouldn't it be better if they switched to being low conviction investors?
It wouldn't make any difference, since they'd only want to invest in the startups that famous investors invested in, and those already have enough money.

I think it's also the inconsiderate meeting burden. If someone asks for an hour of your time during a period when you're extremely busy, but then 100% of their decision is based on a question that could have been answered with a one-line email, then that sucks.

Yes, worst part is, they ask the question at the end of the meeting.
